The Breezy Guide to Utah

I've written about throwing a beer Olympics in the past. Beer Olympics

The only way to have a successful Beer Olympics is to PLAN. Luckily for you, I’ve already done all the planning. The basic rules of the event include: Teams of 2 or 4 players representing a country of their choice. We had 6 teams of 4 people. Our countries were the U.S.A., Ireland, Germany, England, Canada, and Australia. It’s also a lot more fun if everyone dresses up representing their country, so try to encourage that! I also made a rule that every team had to have at least ONE of each gender to keep it fair. All teams compete in drinking games to win points A general rule I found was to plan for as many games for as many teams you have. Example: you have five teams, you play 5 games. We played 10 games in total, and it was probably too many. Depending on how heavy drinkers you have coming, it should depend on how many games you pick. Lagoon Amusement Park

Lagoon is Utah's hidden gem. It's about 20 minutes north of downtown Salt Lake City. It's the perfect way to entertain kiddos all day long. Lagoon is Utah's one and only amusement park filled with tons of rollercoasters and rides of all sizes. I was raised relatively close to Lagoon, so I grew up going there a lot as a kid. Since then, they have added tons of new rides and shows. The newest ride is The Caninibal and it is the biggest roller coaster in the entire park. It is known for having the steepest drop of any roller coaster. (at the time it was built, at least) With more than a 90-degree drop, it's sure to get your heart pumping. On the south end of the park is the second biggest coaster, The Wicked. This coaster will quickly shoot you up and out to start the rest of the coaster.
